Liturgical Ministries

Altar Servers:  Grade 4 and older serve at weekend Masses.  Older youth and adults serve at funerals and special occasions.

Children’s Liturgy:  Proclaim the Liturgy of the Word to children aged 4-7 at 11 am Sunday Mass.

Commentators:  Read announcements and Prayers of the Faithful.

Décor:  Decorate the church at various times throughout the year.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion:  Assist with distributing communion (the hosts and the cups).

Hospitality:  Greet everyone and distribute bulletins.

Lectors:  Proclaim the first reading or the second reading.

Mass Captains:  Coordinate ministries at weekend Masses and take care of set-up and clean-up.

Music Ministry:  Sing or play an instrument to lead the assembly.

Ushers and Collection Collectors:  Take collection during Offertory and assist people to find a seat when necessary.
